Exploring the Realm of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Exploring the Realm of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

This is a treatment that has huge positive effect on the nervous system and brings back balance and restoration to the mind and body.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy was developed by Osteopath William Sutherland in the early 20th century. He discovered the subtle movements and rhythms of the Craniosacral system — a system including the bones, tissues and fluids that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It's intricate relationship with the nervous system allows the physical body to move and is what facilitates essential body functions 24/7. The Craniosacral system plays a vital role in maintaining overall health, it supports the musculoskeletal system, immune system, hormonal balance, emotional well-being and beyond the physical, assists with clearing energetic blocks. A system that supports the whole bodies natural healing processes. (Talk about a power house).

Biodynamic therapists work with a non-invasive, gentle touch to create a safe and nurturing environment for the body's inherent intelligence, wisdom and healing abilities to emerge from the system, rather than actively manipulating the Craniosacral system that occurs by the likes of Chiropractor, Osteopath or other forms of Craniosacral therapy. BSCT requires alot of presence, somatic awareness and gentle contact from the practitioner.

From our own experience we believe BCST is definitely not a "one stop shop” or “a quick fix”. Committing to BCST as a self care practice allows you to unwind layers of self holding patterns, overtime and integrates the benefits in a safe and timely manner. Slow is where the juice is!

What our clients say about BCST.

I have had a number of Craniosacral treatments with Evie-Sue now and each time I initially think that I am quite relaxed going into the treatment, however, during the course of the massage with different pressure points applied I find my deeper muscles and mind relax into a much deeper state than you can imagine possible. I feel so amazing, relaxed and rejuvenated after the session. I would honestly recommend this Craniosacral treatment to everyone, even if you don’t think you need it. Thanks Evie-Sue — Your Amazing, Judy.

Just had my fourth session and it just gets better and better every time. My nervous system responds so well to the Craniosacral therapy and it feels as though with every session it heals me on a deeper level. She has a meditative way of reaching the psyche. Thank you Evie Sue :) Looking forward to my next session! Xx Cara.

It's hard to put into words what Evie-Sues bodywork treatments are like... actually, it's not: they are relaxing, deep, physically and emotionally therapeutic, and one-of-a-kind. Craniosacral therapy with Evie-sue helped me calm down, let go and softly listen to what my body was telling me, while also providing a tranquil, luxurious space to just be and receive. Run don't walk. Pure earth-magic. With love, Sophia.
I love Craniosacral treatments with Evie-Sue. Her magic hands send me into deep relaxation and help me surrender into the calmness within. Her treatments help to give me a baseline of what a relaxed nervous system feels like so I can regularly practice getting there myself. Craniosacral therapy helps my body to feel like it has the space to rejuvenate and regenerate cells helping me to feel a renewed sense of vitality in the coming days and weeks after. Highly recommend a treatment with Evie-Sue! Absolute healing and bliss at the same time ❤️ Prudence.
